Group Abundance Meditation
Due to the great success of the last group meditation, I’ve decided to host another. The moon comes back around to Taurus in the waxing cycle on 3-18-2010. I will be hosting a group abundance meditation the evening of Thursday March 18th. Mark your calendars! Participation is free. When we work together, we create abundance for all.
More details coming soon.
~ Today, Wednesday (3-10-10) @ 4:59pm EST, the Moon will v/c until 12:42am Thursday morning ~
I rounded out the turn through Capricorn by having a meeting at the school. I was ambushed. I was lead to believe there’s be 3 of us. There was 5. I had to address my issue with each person in turn, in front of all. Uncomfortable? Yep. But I knew I was doing the right thing. I knew I was on the side of the just and that I would prevail… and I did.
This evening I need to find peace. Let go of any anxiety that’s left over from the meeting today. Time to shake it off and start anew.
~ When She rights her course @ 12:42am EST, She’ll move into Aquarius where She’ll remain, from Thursday early morning until 7:57am EST on Saturday (3-13-10) ~
My almanac says: “Aquarius is a rebellious energy. Time to break habits and make abrupt change. Personal freedom and individuality is the focus.”
Aquarius is quite inventive and ingenious!
~ Moon Manifestation Tarot Card ~
*Three of Cups*
This card made me giggle. The three of cups is all about emotional connections to friends, community, family, etc.. It’s about getting out there and making connections and having FUN and enjoying yourselves. I giggled because it can also represent finding companions.
~ My Plan: Thursday evening through Saturday afternoon ~
Another spot on tarot card for me with that gorgeous moon I adore so much in a perfect house to support my plans and ideas! I truly adore this amazingly magical life I’ve been given :)
See, about ten days ago, I was feeling sort of lonely and wishing for some new, real live people to be around. I went to my favorite metaphysical store just looking to at least be in the energy I was seeking, and it was there in that energy that the reason for my being there walked through the door.
I met the most wonderful woman there that day. We talked in the store and had much in common. We exchanged business cards and went our separate ways. Well, the day before yesterday I decided to call her and invite her to lunch. We have a lunch date on Thursday.
I’m really looking forward to learning about her and chatting about great things over good food.
I will take the advice of the moon and tarot and spend my next few days focusing on my individuality and my individual needs. I think maybe it’s time to go out with some old and bring in some new. Ya know? Just reevaluate my habits and how they are or aren’t serving me.
And the three of cups has me connecting on an emotional level with new friends and old alike. There is always much to celebrate!

Quickening Moon in Virgo
Blessed Saturday to All!!
I’m having a very slow weekend. As I sit here typing this, I still don my bed hair, jammie pants, and a big, over-sized sweatshirt. Ah, the joy of a lazy weekend!
Today my only interest is relaxation and enjoyment, so in the spirit of my goals for today, I give you some things to smile about!

~ Today, Saturday (2-27-10) @ 3:15pm EST, the Moon v/c until 7:52pm this evening ~
As I’ve already stated and HAVE been saying for days now, my only interest at this time is rest and relaxation! Coming out of illness and my personal moon cycle AND a lot of stress, being at peace and relaxed and calm are my only concerns right now. The moon going void of course is always supportive of rest and recuperation mainly because it’s NOT supportive of beginnings or manifesting, which today, is fine by me!
~ When She rights her course @ 7:52pm EST, she’ll move into Virgo where she’ll remain, from Saturday evening, through our Quickening (Full) Moon @ 11:38am on Sunday, and until 12:36pm EST on Monday (3-01-10) ~
My almanac says: Virgo favors the accomplishment of details and commands from higher up. Focus on health, hygiene, and daily schedules.
Virgo is an Earth sign and places emphasis on things that you might describe as grounding. Things that are practical, functional, nurturing, stabilizing, etc..
** The Quickening Moon falls Sunday and it’s an AMAZING time for ritual and creation! We know the Earth below us is stirring to life and we are but a few short weeks away from seeing the first visible signs of life emerging from our Mother. Preform rituals for self growth and purpose. What do you want to achieve personally? **
~ Moon Manifestation Tarot Card ~
*I find it ironic that I spilled a potted plant and covered my tarot deck with Earth as I reached for them to draw a card for my Earthy weekend :) *
** Queen of Cups **
The Queen of Cups is telling me to focus upon my intuition and psychic development during this Quickening Moon. To say I’ve been feeling the quickening of psychic development a lot lately would be an incredibly accurate statement. As I typed about personal goals and achievements above, I wondered in the back of my mind just what I should personally focus upon. Looks as though I’ve gotten my answer.
~ My Plan: Saturday evening through Monday afternoon ~
The Full Moon is recognized over 3 days time. The day before, day of, and day after. I am very excited about this grounding and centering, Quickening Moon in Virgo. Especially so now that I’ve drawn the Queen of Cups and am intending to focus upon that little psychic voice inside of me. That little voice excites me quite thoroughly.
I’ve got no plans, nowhere to be, and nothing happening this weekend. Not only that, but we’re in the middle of a 3 day snow storm and are quite literally snowbound right now. How wonderfully perfect!
Today I’m simply going to spend time watching this beautiful storm and communing with my Spirit. Tomorrow I will take advantage of the Full Moon and do a ritual for the expansion of my psychic vision. Then Monday is my “Day Spa Monday” so i see no reason why I shouldn’t spend the day honoring my inner and outer Goddess & being at one with the Universe. Sounds like pure bliss to me!
Plenty of grounding and centering going on. Oodles of personal focus. And my personal favorite, lots of rest and relaxation. As a side note, I need to pay some attention to my household cleaning schedule. Time to re-evaluate and rearrange some things. I know I’m not the only person who has some clutter and chaos at home. This weekend is a wonderful time for setting chore lists and schedules. Virgo’s energies are quite conductive to lists and schedules for the household.
What sort of personal goals will you focus on? What do you want for you?!

You Say Potato, I Say Organic
Good Friday morning to all of you beautiful bloggies!
I feel so great about the next few days. As many of you know, Ash and I have decided to do a group abundance ritual/meditation tonight. You can find the details for it here.
At 5:55 EST this morning, the moon entered into the house of Taurus.
My almanac says:In Taurus, thing begun DO last, tend to increase in their value, and become hard to alter. Brings out an appreciation for beauty and sensory experience.
She’ll be in Taurus until She v/c @ 7:15 am on Sunday 02-21 until 1:47pm when She settles into Gemini.
I intend to attend my group ritual tonight and charge my money clip talisman and spend time meditating on the abundance all around. Thursday I ventured into the snowy wood to leave gifts of coins and beautiful stones for my Earthy Elementals. Saturday I will do it again. Taurus brings out an appreciation for beauty and there’s nothing I find more beautiful than the sanctity of nature.
I foresee a lazy Sunday morning. With the moon v/c, I like to take my cue to just chill! And what better time to chill with my family than on a lazy Sunday morning.
The moon will be headed straight into airy Gemini Sunday afternoon @ 1:47pm, but I’ll see you again before then. *wink*
You Say Potato, I Say Organic
I am sold. I am all about the organic potato. This wasn’t always the case however.
Why I didn’t want to try them.
I can buy a 10 pound bag of Idaho potatoes for $3 or I can buy a 3 pound bag of organic potatoes for $2.50. Unfortunately math was my strong subject.
Why I decided to try them.
I stumbled upon a top 10 list of produce that retains the highest percentages of chemicals and are best bought organic. Potatoes were #1. Coffee was #2, but with the amount of coffee I drink, I’d go broke! One change at a time please.
Why I’m sold.
I bought the 3# of organic potatoes for $2.50. *cringes* I took them home and the first thing I made with them was french fries. I scrubbed them with my produce brush (LG fingernail brush), put them through the french fry cutter and dropped them into a bag with some olive oil and sea salt. I shook them around to coat them and threw them into a 400 degree oven on parchment paper for about 15 minutes.
1* Normally I do up a bunch of potatoes and bake them. We eat. What’s left is left. Usually the dogs get what’s left. ~ How much money was I wasting by OVER cooking so often. As I cut up the expensive organics, I was much more conscious to the amount that I would need and I even put out more vegetables to compensate for the smaller amount of potatoes. Everyone ate everything.
2* These were, by far, the best tasting potatoes I’ve ever eaten. I didn’t even realize that potatoes really HAD a flavor. I always thought of them as bland and absorbing whatever flavor they’re added to, but that’s not true. Potatoes are phenomenally delicious!
So that’s my testimonial for spending the extra money and buying the organic potatoes. Give them a try, you won’t be sorry!

Following Synchronicity
This is a manifestation technique that I swear by. I believe that synchronicity, also known as coincidence, is the divine language of the Universe. It is the guidance system that can easily lead you when you follow the signs and allow the meanings to reveal themselves.
People often tell me that they believe synchronicity is special but more as a wink from the Universe and they don’t understand how one can “follow” synchronicity. I always reply, just follow… think about what you feel pulled to… put your focus wherever you see the synchronicity and it will lead you into the lap of the manifestation you desire.
Unfortunately, I am generally hard pressed to give an example. Not because they’re so few, but because they are so constant around me and seemingly interwoven with everything else. Some synchronicity begins leading me YEARS in advance, which you will soon see.
It truly is a magical life and I feel blessed more deeply than I can express at having the opportunity to live it. Without further ado, my synchronicity testimonial.
*) Be Blessed in the Arms of the One ~
I posted last week about having a UTI and drinking baking soda water and feeling much better. Well, that didn’t last long. That remedy has worked for me in the past, but Friday morning I woke up with a major sinus headache with minor congestion and kept sneezing my head off. Oh, and the return of the burn.
In my opinion… Because I was being invaded by a virus and bacteria at the same time, my immune system couldn’t handle it and I ended up with an unavoided, full blown case of both things. Friday mid morning, I was in the ER reading a book awaiting the results of my urinalysis from the lab.
So, I started taking the dreaded antibiotics on Friday. Saturday I got out of bed to go to the bathroom twice and other than that, I just prayed for death.. Sunday was better, but I still sported my jammies and while I would normally have created my schedule for the week and typed up the Moonday Manifestor, I only had the strength to look up the information. I just couldn’t sit here to type, so back to bed I went.
I noted that the moon came into Pisces early Sunday morning and Pisces is great for dreams and all things psychic. I decided, since I’m taking it easy, I should take advantage of the down time to meditate and focus inward and strengthen that psychic connection that seems to be getting stronger all the time.
So Sunday, I meditated… Monday I was up and around a little more. The boys didn’t have school so we went to lunch with grandma because she doesn’t get to see them much during the school year. When we got back, I was relaxed and happy and felt compelled to pick a tarot card for the day.
I asked where I was heading and I drew the 4 of Pentacles. That told me to cultivate a feeling of gratitude to maintain my current advantage because the time of the creation of my legacy is at hand. That is true. We’re starting a family business soon. We’re still in the very beginning stages right now, but it is imminent… and exciting!
So that buoyed my spirit and gave me pause to consider just what my “current advantage” might be. I checked back to my lunar information for the week and saw that focusing on my psychicness in Pisces was only going to happen through the rest of that day (Monday) through til Tuesday evening.
After that She’d take a turn through passionate and impulsive Aries and land in Taurus @ 5:55am on Friday.
“Wow!” I thought. Here we are in the waxing moon… the best time to expand and create… charging right into Taurus’ staying power. Spells cast and things begun in Taurus are known to increase in their value and be hard to alter… That’s the staying power. I’ve also found that numbers call out to me. Spirit speaks to me through numbers all the time so they always get my attention.
The 5:55 grabbed my eyes immediately and I knew it was a synchronicity I was meant to pay attention to. So I did. I decided that on Friday, in Taurus, I’m going to be doing a ritual for increasing abundance. The timing really IS quite perfect, so mote it be.
I made a notation and went about my day Monday. That night I got an email from a wonderful yahoo group I’m a member of. In it it talked about how to basically stretch your psychic muscles and tune yourself in to what you’re looking for. It suggested sitting quietly in meditation and trying to see, feel, sense, smell WHATEVER.. 3 things from the next day… predictions. I thought it might be fun, especially since increasing my sense of premonition is of great interest to me. I flagged the email and left it to go back to another time.
I went back to the laundry and a thought occurred to me.
One of my personal symbols is an infinity sign. ∞ It appears in several unlikely places in my home and on many belongings. It even appears inside my van, which I manifested from a vision board a couple years ago. The ∞ was how I knew it was the one I was seeking. *snickers* My best friend is even marked with one that she acquired prior to our meeting.
It’s a symbol of peace and eternity and love and everlasting Spirit to me. It brings a certain… vibration to me.
I wonder if you could pick a different symbol. Even something only in your mind, that could represent your desired manifestation. When you’re bored, you could doodle the symbol and connect to the desire… or simply conjure the image in your mind.
I decided it was a thought worth pursuing and made a mental note to bounce the idea off of Ash in the morning, then went off to my room to squeeze in a prerecorded episode of Charmed before bed. The episode was all about talisman and good-luck charms. Curious.
Hubby ended up being called to work and I ended up getting to watch another episode of Charmed. In the second episode, in begins with Phoebe digging through her sister, Piper’s, suitcase. She holds things a moment and focuses, then sets them aside in search of something else. In walks Prue who inquires as to what she’s doing. Phoebe replies that she’s trying to strengthen her psychic muscle by trying to call a premonition TO her instead of waiting for one to strike.
Hmmm… Double curious. Down right synchronistic.
Tuesday morning, I told Ash my idea and she agreed it was interesting and worth pursuit. Then I told her about how I was going to be exercising my psychic muscle and invited her to join me. I went off to my group to copy the instructions and found an email right above it about charging and carrying a talisman.
*My synchronicity siren started screaming*
I copied both things and pasted them over and then recounted the previous night’s encounter with my television show synchronicity reinforcing my “exercising of my psychic muscle”…. Then we talked about the synchronicity of the talisman email and how well that fits exactly what I’d been thinking with the creation of a symbolic intention.
This (Wednesday) morning, my exercise began. I volunteer at the school on Wednesday. Same class, same kids, same teacher. I did some meditation and a little focus work and tried to see what the teacher would be wearing when I got there I said black, conservative shoes… they were brown. I said tan slacks and they were. I said blue top and it was a sweater with a bunch of blue pattern. I was really close.
Satisfied.
I was also meeting K today and decided to try to see what she wore also. I saw her in black boots and she was… dark blue jeans and she was, pink button up blouse but it was tan. I’d seen her hair cut and it wasn’t. I saw her wearing glasses instead of contacts but I was wrong. They were contacts. But one of the first things she said to me once in the van was “I was thinking we could stop and you could help me pick out a hairdo and I could get a haircut while we’re out!”
Satisfied… Like, totally wowed actually.
So… after all my running, I sat down to chat up my Ash, as I’m apt to do in the afternoon, and I told her about how I needed to find a talisman by Friday and she should too:
me: You need a talisman… btw…something to carry or wear. Before Friday…
Ash: okay! what should it be?
me: It should be anything that represents whatever you want to increase in value or have an abundance of… I was thinking about painting a symbol on a crystal and charging it in Taurus on Friday…
Because it’s not uncommon for me to carry a crystal in my pocket.
If you’re aim is to attract monetary abundance, you could use a money clip…Ash: *nods
me: I have one…it’s like.. copper or bronze… and its a beetle…Funny… I’ve always held onto it…
I found it on the beach in the sand one day and fell in love… and I’ve even used it…
And because I just suddenly had that snap into my mind… I do believe it’s my talisman :)
I’m going to go find it.
*Synchronicity*
And I did. Only I couldn’t find it. I looked where I thought it’s be but to no avail. This morning however, I drew a tarot card for the day that told me to take a Spiritual approach to my problems and not an egoic one. So I cleared my mind and placed my hands, palms together, at my heart and recited the following charm three times.
Money clip, money clip come to me. Let me have you. Let it be.
After the third recitation, I saw it in my mind’s eye… in the little blue basket by the front door. I turned and left my bedroom and found my money clip exactly where I’d seen it.

*Psychic stretch*
I also found a dime, slid in the middle. It’s already brought me money :)
Then, while I had time after that, I looked it up online. I’ve always found this little clip quite curious and I love it. I didn’t know why there was a beetle on it but I always felt that it was important, so finally, after owning it for 12 years, I looked up the symbolic meaning to the beetle.
According to Kendall-BioResearch.co.uk :
The Sacred Scarab in Egyptian Mythology
According to their ancient texts, the Egyptians believed that the scarab beetle came into being spontaneously from balls of dung and they associated this with their religious ideology of self-creation and resurrection. Thus, the scarab beetle was worshipped under the name Khepri (meaning ‘he who has come into being’ or ‘he who came forth from the earth’). As a self-created deity, Khepri became synonymous with the creator-god, Atum, of earlier times. Furthermore, in the same way that the scarab beetle pushed a ball of dung before it, the Egyptians imagined that Khepri rolled the sun (the solar ‘ball’) across the sky from east to west each day, and so they also regarded Khepri as a form of the sun-god, Ra (or Re). Hence, the scarab became an important symbol of creation, resurrection and everlasting life in the religious mythology of ancient Egypt. Small jars and coffins containing dried (mummified) scarabs were often placed in Egyptian tombs as part of their ancient funeral rites to ensure eternal resurrection (ref. 1).
Large statues of scarab beetles were probably a common feature in ancient Egyptian temples – a colossal scarab statue is still preserved in situ beside the sacred lake in the temple of Amun at Karnak, and a similar colossal scarab carved in granite can be seen on display at the British Museum in London.
The sacred ’sun’ scarab, giving light and warmth, became a popular symbol in everyday life and small amulets (or seals) in the form of scarab beetles were produced in large quantities, either carved in stone or moulded in glass or faience (a ceramic material made from crushed quartz). The flat underside of such scarab amulets was often decorated with geometric patterns or hieroglyphic inscriptions (as shown in the picture below). Scarab amulets were sometimes set into elaborate pieces of jewelry, but more often they were pierced for threading on a simple cord necklace. There were also special unpierced funerial-type scarab amulets, like the so called ‘heart scarab’ shown below. These were placed with the mummified bodies of deceased people in their coffins and tombs as a symbol of resurrection and new life (ref. 2).
HA! Figures I’ve been walking around with an Egyptian God in my pocket! Even back before I even cared to know the difference. The pre-earth witch days. LOL
As I read the above for the first time, I started to think about this little money clip. I found it while very unhappily married to my ex husband. I was walking on the beach and there it was in the sand. I picked it up and fell immediately in love with it. It was so weird. Perfect.
Now, think what you want, but about a month after I started carrying it, my entire life changed. I met the man who is now my husband and was finally able to break away from the man I was bound to. The new man I ‘d met turned out to be the man of my dreams. Truly. It’s been a virtual fairy tale for us since. Even through the rough times.
I’ve never considered the money clip to be of good or bad luck and I never considered the time similarities of my life taking a turn and my finding it. As far as the money clip goes, I literally never considered it.. at all… in any way. Yet now I find myself staring in awe.
And as I allowed the idea in, that the clip itself may have always BEEN my talisman already, I had a sudden memory…
I realized that, last year when I found those (2) $50 bills in the parking lot at the grocery store, it was RIGHT after I’d started carrying this clip again. I recall specifically because the bills were wet and I wrapped the wet bills around the outside of the dry bills and carefully slid the clip down over the $100 that put me in the black for the month. Before the end of the day, I gave away 10%.
So here I am… following the synchronicity that guides my life. I’m having a ritual/group focus/group meditation on Friday. I’ve asked Ash and she’ll be joining me in it.
Group focus is SO much stronger than solitary, so if you’d like to join us in our “Increase & Abundance Meditation” you will need to do the following before Friday:
- Gather yourself a talisman that you will charge and carry with you so you may carry the energy you are wanting to attract. It can be something you will wear or something you carry in a pocket. Anything that represents to you whatever it is you want to increase.
- Make sure you know the time for your time zone. The goal is to all participate at the same time. We all add the power of our intentions to YOUR attraction and YOU add your power to ours.
- I intend to journal my results. Any additional monetary abundance that dances into my life on the breath of the wind I intend to note. I’m learning through my “psychic stretches” that tracking hits it important!
- Increasing monetary abundance is an Earthy goal where increasing love is a Watery goal. Know the elemental backing your intention. Patchouli, Jet, & Jasper are also Earthy and will be my incense and crystals for this ritual. As an extra bonus, my incense holder is a simple, short, glass jar filled with sand. Nothing like adding Earth Herself to a ritual :) Because I’m a little old school, I’ll probably take a walk to the back corner of our property and offer a gift (coin or two) to the gnomes of the Earth and wish them blessings of much abundance that they may also bless me in return.
I’ll post here on Friday morning with the exact time. I can ballpark it as being between likely 8 and 10pm EST. I really hope we can get one or two more. The more, the merrier. Hope to… uh… sense you there?.. LOL

Sun in Pisces!
Good Morning!!
First I have to say that the group abundance focus/meditation is going to be at 10:00pm EST on Friday 2-19.
If you’d like to join us, figure out your time. If you’d like to comment and let us know you’re joining in, that’d be great. But if you’d like to just remain anonymous, that’s fine too :)
I’ll post in the morning the specifics of MY ritual. You’re free to use it also, or something of your own, or you can just sit in your chair and meditate on your abundance for 5 minutes. The depth of participation is up to you. We all simply agree to be doing the same thing at the same time.
Today is the day for all you Pisceans! As the Sun slides across our wintry sky here in the northern hemisphere, It will enter the house of Pisces @ 1:36pm EST.
Overall, Chart Planet.com says:
As the last sign of the zodiac, you are in conflict with yourself, as your symbol suggests–two fish locked in tension, forever pulling each other in opposite directions. This can represent the personality tied to the soul, and indeed one seems to be swallowing the other. Your motto is either serve, or suffer. And if you lean more toward the spiritual side, your rewards are huge, for you are the most sensitive and psychic sign in the horoscope…. Read More?
In romantic compatibility, Cafe Astrology.com says:
ARIES is more decisive and direct, but also somewhat more naive and simple (psychologically speaking) than PISCES is. You two can balance one another nicely. ARIES depends on PISCES’s sensitivity and gentleness to soothe, heal, and provide a sanctuary from the world of competing and achieving. PISCES, on the other hand, admires and probably needs ARIES’s forthrightness, honesty, and willingness to act boldly…. Read More?
All babies born between today, 02-18-2010 @ 1:36pm EST and Saturday, 03-20-2010 @ 1:32pm EST will be born into the house of Pisces. I’ve never paid too much attention to astrology in the past, but I would have to say that in the attention I have given it, I’ve always found it to be eerily accurate.
That being said, it was nice to read about all you Pisceans. You sure seem a nice group. LOL I’ve only ever known one Pisces, but in the end it turned out I didn’t really know her at all, so I won’t allow her to be my first impression.
Have a great day!

3 New Habits for 2010
I get up in the morning and while I wait for the water to boil for my coffee, I write in my gratitude journal. I started doing this MOST mornings back on the winter solstice. It’s part of my Becoming. I want to more fully embrace all the wonderful things I’ve already been blessed with.
That’s the time I spend looking backwards. I look backwards, not too far, and give a list of 10 things that I really appreciate. It helps me start my day thinking about the good. Some things repeat, like the hot coffee I’m anticipating as I write. But truthfully, I really appreciate it. I wouldn’t want to start my day without my coffee. It is heaven in a mug.
I’ve decided to add to this, a new habit. After my 10 appreciations for the morning, I’ll create a list of what I want to see in my day. Daily intentions. I’ll start small. Maybe 3 or 4 things, and then go from there.
I have a to-do list half to fully formed the night before, so I usually wake up knowing what’s to be done and where’s to be gone(LOL) that day. Instead of going through all those motions blindly, I’m going to start my day by giving focus to my day, and what I’m creating in within it.
For instance, if I know I’ll be heading the the grocery store, I may list safe travel and inexpensive yet quality goods. Maybe I’ll list that I want to enjoy doing the dishes. I don’t usually, but there’s nothing wrong with wanting to get some enjoyment out of it. Maybe some good ideas… maybe delicious food. I can intend to look for and see anything I want.
I’ve also decided to set an altar every morning. I have a small shelf, right in my dining room, that I use as an altar. It’s funny that the things I have on my altar don’t even look out of place on a shelf in a dining room.
It occurs to me that should I seek first a connection with the Universe, consciously, every morning, it will help me stay balanced and centered. I’ll cast a circle and set a simple alter and light a candle with a morning prayer of thanksgiving and an asking of guidance. So simple a ritual but so profound in my mind.
I’ve been noticing lately how many people (myself included) say they want to change their lives, but never actually DO anything different. How can you have a different life if you don’t change something you’re doing or at least do something new or different in addition to what you normally do?
I won’t be a person who amasses insane amounts of information on everything under the sun while never practicing whatever it is I’ve begun to preach. So many people could easily change almost everything about their lives by changing one thing or doing one NEW thing. I know this is fact. I challenge you to disprove it. It’ll be your most treasured memory of being mistaken.
I promise.

The Moonday Manifestor
Well, I’m delighted to report that I count last week as a total success!
I didn’t get to one of the things I’d intended to see, but I know I’m resisting it, so I guess I’ll have to figure out the why of it so I can move forward.
Before I get into the moon manifesting portion, I wanted to talk a little about why I’m doing this. Why I’m writing this series of posts every Monday (except the one I missed..shh).
This little weekly publication I’m doing is part of my New Years Resolution & Theme Word. This theme word is a fantastic idea I got from my friend Annie. And while I don’t really believe in new years resolutions, there is a goal I wanted to spend time focusing upon in the coming year.
As soon as I read about Her theme word on her blog, I immediately knew what my theme word was. It’s been the theme surrounding my entire life lately. Becoming. What I’m Becoming. Who I’m Becoming. Thing is, I have been, Becoming, for a long time now. It’s just that I can actually identify what I’ve turned into, so now my Becoming is on a much more conscious level.
Which brings me to the resolution part. I’d set a goal on the winter solstice to more consciously walk this path I’ve chosen and allow myself to Become (there’s that word again) the person whom I feel pulled toward being.
This is where The Moonday Manifestor comes in.
This is real for me. What I write. Here in this little publication and in every other that fills my blog. It’s my life and how I feel and what I think and what moves me to write. Right now, the moon moves me.
So as I talk about which house the moon is in and when and what that means to me and how I’m planning my life to take that into consideration, it’s truth. It’s my real life. It’s something that I’m doing to focus myself upon my path and the Becoming of Myself.
It’s a small thing, but it’s an action. It’s SOMEthing. I’m pointing myself in the direction in which I intend to travel. That’s all we really need to do. Know where the end destination is, and then do SOMEthing that points you in that general direction. Then listen to the Universe speak all around you and allow it to move you with the flow.

That beautiful moon entered Sagittarius at the end of last week @ 7:04pm on Saturday and will remain in that house until Tuesday (2-9-10) @ 5:43am when it will enter Capricorn.
My almanac says: Sagittarius encourages flights of imagination and confidence. This moon sign is adventurous, philosophical, and athletic. Favors expansion and growth.
~ Personally ~
Here I am, expanding and growing. Right now as I research my celestial love and plan my life around Her energy, I grow. I’ve been having flights of imagination propped up upon some confidence and it’s been feeling wonderfully.
The business I’d spoken briefly of starting last week didn’t manifest the way I thought it would, but that’s life. Full of surprises. It certainly didn’t fail to manifest, it just wasn’t what I had in mind. But it’s all good because this way is even better. I’m going to continue letting Sagittarius encourage my imagination. Each moment spent imagining my outcome is productive.
And speaking of athletic, I’ve decided to start doing yoga again and had my first stretch of it this morning. Pun intended. I’m feeling like a punny girl today :)

The moon comes into the house of Capricorn on Tuesday morning (2-9-10) @ 5:43am and stays through til Thursday morning (2-11-10) @ 7:39am when it goes void of course until 6:24pm.
My almanac says: Capricorn develops strong structure. Focus on traditions, responsibilities, and obligations. A good time to set boundaries and rules.
~ Personally ~
Tuesday & Wednesday will assuredly hold responsibilities and obligations for me. I must go to our rental house and spend a good portion of time this week cleaning and painting. These 2 days are looking like the days.
Traditions are also important and being that Wednesday is the day Kris and I get together for brunch and coffee, I’ll be sure to be available for her and plan my obligations around our time together. I have my volunteer time with the second graders @ school Wednesday morning anyway so I guess it’ll be an afternoon of obligation preceded by a morning of giving, kindness, great friends, and good coffee. Sounds like a good day to me!
It’s good to know that these are the things that need my focus most and the Universe not only supports me in what I’m doing, but almost seems to be pushing me in the right direction.
Thursday morning (2-11-10) @ 7:39am the moon goes void of course until 6:24pm. That means chaotic energy and I will be found doing not much of anything. I take it as my resting period. I don’t worry about anything or work toward anything. For all intents and purposes, it is my magical resting period. I allow my life to just Be as it is and enjoy it. Purposefully. Maybe I’ll take the dogs on an outing. With the cold weather of late, we’ve not had many outings.

Thursday evening @ 6:24pm the moon will enter the house of Aquarius where She will remain until Saturday night @ 11:33pm when She will again VC until 7:23am Sunday morning at which time She’ll enter Pisces. Right before She voids Her course Saturday night, we welcome in a New Moon @ 9:51pm.
My almanac says: Aquarius is a rebellious energy. Time to break habits and make abrupt change. Personal freedom and individuality is the focus.
~ Personally ~
Thursday evening through bedtime Saturday night is spent in Aquarius. Habit breaking and abrupt change. Personal freedom and individuality. With that new moon coming in @ 9:51pm, when I wake up Sunday morning, the new cycle will have begun. I LOVE this time of the month.
According to Cafe Astrology *In the sign of Aquarius, friendship, brotherhood, group activities, social pursuits, group projects, trying something new, humanitarian efforts, or joining a group will be a strong focus on a personal level. New beginnings*
The “trying something new” and “humanitarian efforts” are the ones jumping out to conk me on the head so they will be my focus from Thursday evening through Saturday. I’ll let you know how that pans out next week!

Sunday morning @ 7:23am the January New Moon will right Her course and enter the house of Pisces where we will pick Her up again next Moonday.
My almanac says: Pisces has a focus on dreaming, nostalgia, intuition, and psychic impressions. A good time for Spiritual or philanthropic activities.
~ Personally ~
Sundays are wonderful in my opinion. As a child I was taught to “Remember the Sabbath and to keep it holy” and so I do. Sunday in my home is restful. Enjoyed. I garden and plant and meditate. We might work on our remodel, but that’s still holy. To us at least. It’s not about “out there”. It’s about in here. Us, our family, being together and loving each other and reconnecting to ourselves as much as each other.
Dreaming and nostalgia are naturally on my to-do list for Sundays. My husband and I will sit at the table with coffee talking of days past and manifestations to come. THAT is what I will be doing this Sunday.
We’re also going to be officially initiating a “Family Game Night” for Sunday evenings. We play together a lot, but not as regularly as we used to. I intend to remedy that!
