Saturday Morning Giggles
The rat attacked the cat.
This phrase has caused riotous laughter to ripple through my house this morning. I listened to the boys in stitches on the couch as they all tried to repeat the simple phrase, multiple times in a row to no avail and chuckled to myself, filled with thoughts of how it really IS the simple things that make life enjoyable.
There’s nowhere in the world I’d have rather of been. There’s nothing under the sun I’d have rather of been doing. It was a moment carved out of perfection and total contentedness. It was priceless.
We are all wealthy beyond reason when we count all those priceless things. The memories and moments and mental images and the cherished things in our personal histories that spreads warmth through our souls. And even if you feel yourself wealthy in hardships as well, it is still an abundance of wealth to be thankful for and rejoice in, for it is out of those hardships that the cherished springs forth. Without one, the other could not exist.
We experience our greatest leaps in personal growth in hard times. Such is the force of evolution. Personal growth reinforces and expands our relationship with the Universe as we become more and more aware of who we really are and what our purposes really are for being here.
Join me today as I count my blessings. Not the good or bad. Not the pretty or the ugly.
Today as I sit here, I will be fully aware of how the fact that I am able to sit here at ALL is a blessing. I will allow all good to flow into my life, uninhibited, but I will also allow the growth that seeks me to be as it needs to be in order for me to most easily find my way. I will walk in peace knowing that I am fully supported by the Universe in all I do. I will see my world as a canvas upon which I am to paint my masterpiece and I will cover it in beautiful strokes of laughter and love.
I love this amazing life… and I wish those words weren’t so inadequate. Some times there are just no words.
~ Last night, Friday (3-5-10) @ 11:32pm EST, the Moon went v/c until 2:36am this morning ~
I was snoring happily! I hope you were too :)
~ She righted her course @ 2:36am EST, and moved into Sagittarius where She’ll remain, from Saturday / this morning until 6:13am EST on Monday (3-8-10) ~
My almanac says: “Sagittarius encourages flights of imagination and confidence. This moon sign is adventurous, philosophical, and athletic. Favors expansion and growth.”
Sagittarius energy is all about seeking truth, growth, and adventure. It flies by the seat of it’s pants and does impulsive and pleasurable things. It’s also highly optimistic and has great faith.
~ Moon Manifestation Tarot Card ~
*Ace of Pentacles*
This one is all about trust! About moving forward in faith and knowing that I am totally secure in my life. This is such a fitting card for this transit through Sagittarius. This card doesn’t really support the impulsive and fantastical nature of Sagittarius, but it is all about knowing your seeds have been planted and putting your faith and trust in their coming fruition.
~ My Plan: Saturday morning through Monday morning ~
I intend to focus upon a new adventure! I’m going to be stepping out of my comfort zone and I’m going to start doing tarot readings for other people. As I’ve been learning and practicing, I’ve done oodles of readings for my friend K and oodles for every situation in my life. I’ve become much more confident in my interpretations and accuracy and even though it scares the crap out of me (LOL) I think it’s time to grow with it.
It’s been a goal of mine for quite some time to be more developed in my intuitive abilities and to read tarot cards and I’ve finally reached the point that I feel like I have the ability to share something of value. So, you can all look forward to seeing a “Get a tarot reading” page in the very near future!
I hope your weekend is fantastic!

Tell a friend!
You are Awesome!
No, really. Regardless of what you do for a living or what mistakes you’ve made in your past. The fact that you are sitting in your chair, right now, reading this makes you awesome.
Today is Sunday and being raised Christian, I automatically observe Sunday as the day of Spirit. Not a day of rest really, but a day in which I consciously seek connection to Spirit in the things that I do. Sunday is the day I water and/or feed my plants. I enjoy weed pulling and gardening on Sundays too. There’s just something wonderfully grounding (pun intended) about having your hands in the dirt and encouraging the Spirit around you into growth.
I like to spend Sunday playing with my children. The 2 AND 4 legged varieties. It’s the day of relaxation, enjoyment, love, reflection, a counting of one’s blessings.
Sometimes I find myself completely struck speechless by the wonder that is me. And you. Us! We are amazing! Today is one of those times. In the spirit of our collective AWESOMENESS, I’d like to present you with this wonderful video. Deepak Chopra really has a way of expressing the magnitude of our divinity that I love.
Happy Spirit Day to you and yours! May you find a direct line to the Source of all that is good and be in peace.

Gifts for the Deserving!
♥ Hey Everyone!
In honor of Day Spa Monday, I want to give away some stuff because I CAN!
I’ve gotten quite a collection of ebooks together. Here are eight of them for you.
You can download them from my page by clicking here.
Take half an hour today…
What? You don’t have an entire, extra half an hour?
Then take 20 minutes… 15, 10.. you get the point.
The AMOUNT of time isn’t half as important as the fact that you’re TAKING it.
Take half an hour today and do something JUST for you. Something that will make you smile. Something that will make you feel good. Something you maybe don’t usually do.
Anything!
I like to soak in a tub and have a facial and polish my nails. It’s my girlie, relaxing, luxurious thing to do. My pampering. It’s wonderful. I deserve it! I work hard, even the weeks that I don’t.
Don’t have that much time? Read a magazine, feed the birds, take a walk, sit on a bench in the sun… ANYTHING that makes you feel good!
The Universe CAN NOT send you what you want if you’re also telling the Universe, at the same time, that you’re not worth it and don’t deserve it. People will always treat you the way you treat yourself. So will God.
Show the Cosmos that YOU think you’re special. That YOU understand how important you are to the organization of the world. That YOU know you deserve anything and everything you desire.
Once you know this for yourself, everyone else will know it too… But once YOU know it… REALLY know it… God will respond in kind.
Manifest the life of your dreams! You CAN do it! The very first key is to KNOW that you deserve to have it. Feel like you deserve it. Accept that it SHOULD be yours…… then you only need to allow it to come.

Never Give Up in Life

Never Give Up in Life
Real Magic

I’ve had the book “Real Magic” by Dr. Wayne W. Dyer on my nightstand for these first 10 days of August. I’ve not gotten all that far into it. Scott was home on vacation from August 3rd thru August 9th and we were working late nights on our little remodeling project.
I have, however, read 70 pages of this 323 paged book and so far, it is surprising to me how Wayne can explain things the way he does. I get to talking about God and the Universe and LOA and metaphysics and I get all excited and I kind of subject jump as things occur to me. I can’t seem to streamline my thoughts. I think this happens to me because I’m still new to it all and I’m still VERY excited and awed. Although by “new to it all” I mean less that 10 years and I’ve been this excited about it since day 1 so maybe that’ll never go away.
Anyway, my younger brother is only 22 and he’s right at the beginning of his Spiritual journey. He’s seeking. It’s a beautiful thing really. I’ve watched the poor kid struggle with himself his whole life. It’s heartwarming to see him finding his way out.
I’ve decided that this is the book for him! I just saw him last week and one of the first things he asked me is if I could recommend a good book for him. I explained to him that I knew plenty of wonderful books, but that I wasn’t sure if he was in a place where they’d do him any good. Spirituality is a very long path that spans your entire lifetime. The books that make an impact on you will change depending on the place your in on the path. I’ve been on this path for nearly 10 years longer than him so it stands to reason that the books I read wouldn’t touch him in nearly the same way.
I’ve had Real Magic on my book shelf waiting to be read for about 10 months now. Funny that I finally pick it up in a time when I don’t have time to read it but my brother comes looking for a book. And 70 pages of reading has told me that THIS is the perfect read for him.
So, here’s my review of the first seventy pages of the book “Real Magic” by Dr. Wayne W. Dyer.
My baby brother has been very lost. He hates himself. He never believes he’s good enough.
I believe that this book will make a massive impact on his life. I think this would be a WONDERFUL book to give to anyone who is just starting to find their Spiritual footing. Wayne Dyer just has a way with words. This is one of his older books and it’s clear to me that he was in the more beginning stages of his own Spirituality when he wrote it. Again, I say beginning, I mean less than 10 years. I know… that’s a big beginning. But we’re talking about you entire life span. Ten years is only a fraction.
If you know someone who is struggling or just starting out… or even someone you think might be ready to take a step but you’re not sure how to approach the subject… THIS IS THE BOOK! I do believe that Wayne Dyer has nailed the explanation of Real Magic and how it’s accomplished!
August’s new book will be:
“The Way of the Wizard – Twenty Spiritual Lessons for Creating the Life You Want” by Deepak Chopra.
I LOVE Deepak Chopra and I can’t wait to start reading this book!!

My Lesson in Allowing
I was sitting on my porch Sunday, just enjoying the beautiful sunshine, and there were 4 hummingbirds that kept coming in pairs to dart and weave around each other and the feeder, eat, and then buzz away in the direction
they came from. One pair had the brightly iridescent feathers and the ruby throat. The other pair were VERY tiny and mostly shades of brown.
I saw a picture once, of a woman with sugar water in a red plastic bottle cap and there were hummingbirds eating right out of her hand. I always thought that was really neat and knowing that I had some bottle caps, I went to retrieve a red one.
I stood with my face a mere 10 inches from that hummingbird feeder and held my bottle cap up near where the other feeder holes were, trying to sort of “blend in” which in retrospect is really stupid. LOL!
They kept coming down near me and buzzing around as though investigating and then off they’d go. None of the 4 wanted to eat from the cap OR the feeder as I stood there.
That got me thinking about my vibration.
I know my dog senses how I feel and what I want from my energy, so of course these birds would too. I took a couple deep breaths and loosened up a bit. They came back, made their rotation and off they went again.
Hmmmm….
Still no feeding. I did an quick inner body scan to look for tension. There’s something about ME that’s keeping them at bay.
I don’t need to make them come, I need to ALLOW them to come. I need to create an environment pleasing to them and allow them to be attracted to it.
Then I thought of Ho’opono’pono (?) and as I stood there consciously relaxing my body, I started to repeat in my mind “I’m sorry, I love you, Please forgive me, Thank you” and I smiled a big warm happy smile.
After about 30 seconds, the red throated pair came down and dodged and weaved around each other, chirping and twittering and both landed right on the feeder, 10 inches in front of my face. I watched, transfixed, as they slid their long beaks down into the fake flower chute and then withdrew flicking their tiny tongues in and out of their beak tips, licking off the excess sweetness.
Off they flew and seconds later, with the chant still repeating in my mind, the other pair came down and both landed on the exact same flowers, RIGHT in front of my face. Not on the other side, away from me where they might feel safer. RIGHT in front of me where I could snatch them right out of the air.
They no longer seemed bothered by me in the least bit.
I ended up putting my bottle cap down and just stood there, nearly touching the feeder and allowed them to buzz around me. At one point, I was afraid they’re run into me the way they scoot around as though riding an invisible wave. I had to force myself to stand still.
Then they flew away. When they came back, they buzzed around me as though investigating again, and then flew off.
“Why aren’t they playing and eating anymore?” I wondered.
Then I realized, it was my thoughts of fear at being hit by one of them.
I stood there and thought about it a moment. The only thing I’ve ever seen a hummingbird run into is a window, and I KNOW that’s because they see through it and don’t realize it’s there. They don’t run into trees or bushes or whatever. They know what their doing. Nature knows what it’s doing. Their dance is perfectly choreographed and will automatically adapt to my being included.
And with that, I took a deep breath and relaxed and allowed them to come back and allowed them to do their dance for me without anymore interference from me or my energy.
They were so beautiful. So graceful. Stunning!
I found that I was really enjoying the way I felt as I stood there totally in awe at the splendor of life and purposefully and consciously “Allowing” it to take place before my eyes. It really put me in the flow.
SO!
Consciously creating your life is like letting hummingbirds buzz around your head.
There are some near misses. And the nearer the miss, the more exciting it is because it’ll always BE a near miss. You’ll always be okay. It’ll always work out right because it’s a perfectly choreographed dance and will automatically adapt to you being included.
Nature knows what it’s doing. God knows what it’s doing. Take a deep breath, relax yourself, plaster a BIG smile on your face, find something stunning to look at and ALLOW life to unfold for you.
Day Spa Monday Musings

Day Spa Monday, the day I breathe.
A Nice soak in the tub. Scrub things, exfoliate things, mud cover things, paint things, polish things and just give ME a big old dose of T.L.C!
The man has returned to work, the children have returned to school….
Oh wait… It’s summer vacation and they’re home!
Man does that dampen a Day Spa Monday like nothing else on earth.
I’ve been trying to be creative because I’m limited on activities having kids home. I know many of you work outside the home, so you have as much or less time alone than I do!
I want to point out to you today, one of the most fabulous ways to show yourself a little love. Loving you should be right up there at the tip top of your priorities list and if it’s not, then I’d also bet there are things about your life you’re unhappy with too.
We know that we attract what we’re a vibrational match to, right? So if you don’t think loving thoughts and have loving feeling toward your body, what do you think you’ll be a vibrational match too? Whatever you just said, I bet it wasn’t a good feeling thing.
If you’re not taking time to breathe and relax and be at peace and invite more peace and joy into your life, it won’t come. Peace and joy and happiness will not come to you if you are not seeking them.
So please take a moment on this wonderfully perfect Monday and allow a little peace and joy and happiness into your life. You’re obviously attracting it!
Take a little time out and laugh! It’ll make you feel great!
