~ The Nineteen Things I Love About Spring Countdown!! ~
Yay! Only eighteen more days until Spring!!! This is my favorite countdown ever!
#18~ Hearing the ground speak.
I love the sound of the air, rising up out of the mud. The popping sound. It’s almost like the ground is carbonated, and you can hear it fizz. The ice melts and the air is able to move through the dirt and water. I feel like the Earth is sighing and yawning from a long winter’s hibernation, and is waking up to a new cycle of creation.

I woke up at 5am to Mike’s cell phone ringing in the living room. His cell is usually left in the truck because it’s only for work. His boss even pays for it. But he absent mindedly set it on the shelf and forgot about it last night.
After the cell rang like 7 times and ceased, I expected the home phone to start next, but it never did.
But it didn’t matter, I was awake. I was awake, and my neck was stiff, and I had a pretty pronounced headache goin’ on. I thought about getting up and making coffee, but with my head hurting, I had the anti-motivation I needed to stay in bed.

Ever since reading The Angel Therapy Handbook, I have had angels and guides on my mind. I was already on my way to forming a relationship with Yeshua, and reading that book opened up the possibilities for me. Now, I talk to angels. Like, all the time. And the freaky part is, they answer.
Now, let me be clear. I’m not seeing things or hearing voices, not that I would apologize for it if I were. If this connection I’ve developed, deepens, and I reach a point where I AM seeing angels, then I accept that. I feel a little like I’m insane sometimes, but I know I’m not. I know this is all very real.
Anyway, I address them as though they’re people, standing right there in the room with me. I ask their help, their guidance, their opinions. When they reply, it’s 75% of the time through some synchronicity. And it is usually a fast response, like within half an hour.
The other 25% is a mix between dreams, sudden spontaneous insight, inspired ideas, and other things of that nature.

I have felt a special bond with Archangel Raphael ever since I first contemplated his energy. He’s the healer of people and animals. He’s also there to lead healers in their lives and help them with their practices. It’s enough to make me wonder if the energy I’ve been feeling over my shoulder was Raphael and not Yeshua, because now that I’m thinking about it, I started feeling that energy right around the winter solstice in December, and that’s when I’d set the official intention to focus on becoming an energy healer this year.
*Giggling* It’s funny the insights I lead myself to when I write, sometimes.
I spoke to Raphael last week when Mike had the flu. I asked him to be with Mike and to help him to allow his well-being to flow, bringing his health back into perfect balance.
Three days ago, I found a bird laying in the snow outside with it’s left wing twisted funny. I picked it up and brought it in the house, and I sat here in my chair and called on Raphael and asked him to heal the bird. I sat, cupping the little thing in my hand, and focused all my energy into that hand. And as I sat directing my own energy, I repeated words of thanks to Raphael in my head, for healing the bird.
After about ten minutes, the bird suddenly took flight from my hand, startling me and the cats. I had to chase it down and let it out the door.
*Shrug* Maybe it was just knocked silly from hitting a window or something. Who knows.

So, I laid in bed from 5 until 6 this morning, unable to go back to sleep, but unwilling to get up. At 6, I decided to ask for help.
I asked Raphael for help with the pain in my head. I explained (Like I said, I talk like they’re people, even if the conversation is in my head) that I didn’t want to face the day with a headache, and that I currently feel like crap, and asked him to bring me peace.
Saying those words in my head is literally the last thing I remember. The next thing I knew, I was waking up to music on my alarm, and it was 7:30. I reached up and hit the snooze button, and stretched. Then I realized that my headache was completely gone. I also felt completely rested. Not groggy or still tired from being up for an hour.
If I am crazy, and this isn’t actually real… I’m okay with that.
