A Quick Balancing Meditation
Sit quietly where you will be undisturbed for about 5 minutes. Begin by taking a deep breath in and holding it for a four count, then exhaling. Repeat these breaths a few times. I usually do it 5 or 6 times, consciously and purposefully releasing all tension and relaxing more and more with each exhalation. When you feel relaxed and ready to begin, fix your inner consciousness upon the area in the center of your chest. Now as you inhale those deep breaths, feel the air enter your body and cool your nose and the back of your throat. Feel it swirl down into your lungs and then center around your heart.

As you breathe into the area, it begins to warm and glow a bright green. If you see a different color, go with what YOU see and feel. You will know what’s right for you.

After a few breaths to build the warmth and glow, imagine that as the oxygen swirls down into your heart, it begins to turn your chakra like a wheel.

You will know the proper direction and speed. It will feel unnatural or resistant to the wrong direction and you just allow your consciousness to turn it the other way. You will also feel a natural urge after a few moments to pull in through the chakra and/or to release out through, from within. There is no right or wrong, your energy system is your own.

Sit, conscious of your breath and the swirling, colorful warmth in your heart and enjoy the sensation. After a few minutes, come back to yourself and wiggle your fingers and toes. I like to stretch and say a quick prayer in gratitude.

To close, I stand and close my eyes and take a quick 2-3 deep breaths and feel my aura around me… Then I bend down to my feet and “zip” it up… using a sweeping, zipper motion. I see in my mind, my aura of personal energy being zipped up with a big crystal zipper that seals it up tight.
