If you’re going to make your bed, you might as well bless your marriage. Even if you’re not married to your partner, a blessing on a union has no stipulations.
This little incantation repeats through my mind while I’m making my bed in the morning. I also take the extra few seconds and smooth out the sheets and pillows. You know, really adding the love. You can’t get out what you don’t put in.
Bless this bed where love resides.
Steady through life’s shifting tides.
Deeper in love each passing day.
A blessed union in which we stay.
