Saturday Morning Giggles

March 6th, 2010

The rat attacked the cat.

This phrase has caused riotous laughter to ripple through my house this morning.  I listened to the boys in stitches on the couch as they all tried to repeat the simple phrase, multiple times in a row to no avail and chuckled to myself, filled with thoughts of how it really IS the simple things that make life enjoyable.

There’s nowhere in the world I’d have rather of been.  There’s nothing under the sun I’d have rather of been doing.  It was a moment carved out of perfection and total contentedness.  It was priceless.

We are all wealthy beyond reason when we count all those priceless things.  The memories and moments and mental images and the cherished things in our personal histories that spreads warmth through our souls.  And even if you feel yourself wealthy in hardships as well, it is still an abundance of wealth to be thankful for and rejoice in, for it is out of those hardships that the cherished springs forth.  Without one, the other could not exist.

We experience our greatest leaps in personal growth in hard times.  Such is the force of evolution.  Personal growth reinforces and expands our relationship with the Universe as we become more and more aware of who we really are and what our purposes really are for being here.

Join me today as I count my blessings.  Not the good or bad.  Not the pretty or the ugly.

Today as I sit here, I will be fully aware of how the fact that I am able to sit here at ALL is a blessing.  I will allow all good to flow into my life, uninhibited, but I will also allow the growth that seeks me to be as it needs to be in order for me to most easily find my way.  I will walk in peace knowing that I am fully supported by the Universe in all I do.  I will see my world as a canvas upon which I am to paint my masterpiece and I will cover it in beautiful strokes of laughter and love.

I love this amazing life… and I wish those words weren’t so inadequate.  Some times there are just no words.

~ Last night, Friday (3-5-10) @ 11:32pm EST, the Moon went v/c until 2:36am this morning ~

I was snoring happily!  I hope you were too :)

~ She righted her course @ 2:36am EST, and moved into Sagittarius where She’ll remain, from Saturday / this morning until 6:13am EST on Monday (3-8-10) ~

My almanac says:Sagittarius encourages flights of imagination and confidence.  This moon sign is adventurous, philosophical, and athletic.  Favors expansion and growth.”

Sagittarius energy is all about seeking truth, growth, and adventure.  It flies by the seat of it’s pants and does impulsive and pleasurable things.  It’s also highly optimistic and has great faith.

~ Moon Manifestation Tarot Card ~

*Ace of Pentacles*

This one is all about trust!  About moving forward in faith and knowing that I am totally secure in my life.  This is such a fitting card for this transit through Sagittarius.  This card doesn’t really support the impulsive and fantastical nature of Sagittarius, but it is all about knowing your seeds have been planted and putting your faith and trust in their coming fruition.

~ My Plan: Saturday morning through Monday morning ~

I intend to focus upon a new adventure!  I’m going to be stepping out of my comfort zone and I’m going to start doing tarot readings for other people.  As I’ve been learning and practicing, I’ve done oodles of readings for my friend K and oodles for every situation in my life.  I’ve become much more confident in my interpretations and accuracy and even though it scares the crap out of me (LOL) I think it’s time to grow with it.

It’s been a goal of mine for quite some time to be more developed in my intuitive abilities and to read tarot cards and I’ve finally reached the point that I feel like I have the ability to share something of value.  So, you can all look forward to seeing a “Get a tarot reading” page in the very near future!

I hope your weekend is fantastic!
