The Moonday Manifestor
February 8th, 2010
Well, I’m delighted to report that I count last week as a total success!
I didn’t get to one of the things I’d intended to see, but I know I’m resisting it, so I guess I’ll have to figure out the why of it so I can move forward.
Before I get into the moon manifesting portion, I wanted to talk a little about why I’m doing this. Why I’m writing this series of posts every Monday (except the one I missed..shh).
This little weekly publication I’m doing is part of my New Years Resolution & Theme Word. This theme word is a fantastic idea I got from my friend Annie. And while I don’t really believe in new years resolutions, there is a goal I wanted to spend time focusing upon in the coming year.
As soon as I read about Her theme word on her blog, I immediately knew what my theme word was. It’s been the theme surrounding my entire life lately. Becoming. What I’m Becoming. Who I’m Becoming. Thing is, I have been, Becoming, for a long time now. It’s just that I can actually identify what I’ve turned into, so now my Becoming is on a much more conscious level.
Which brings me to the resolution part. I’d set a goal on the winter solstice to more consciously walk this path I’ve chosen and allow myself to Become (there’s that word again) the person whom I feel pulled toward being.
This is where The Moonday Manifestor comes in.
This is real for me. What I write. Here in this little publication and in every other that fills my blog. It’s my life and how I feel and what I think and what moves me to write. Right now, the moon moves me.
So as I talk about which house the moon is in and when and what that means to me and how I’m planning my life to take that into consideration, it’s truth. It’s my real life. It’s something that I’m doing to focus myself upon my path and the Becoming of Myself.
It’s a small thing, but it’s an action. It’s SOMEthing. I’m pointing myself in the direction in which I intend to travel. That’s all we really need to do. Know where the end destination is, and then do SOMEthing that points you in that general direction. Then listen to the Universe speak all around you and allow it to move you with the flow.

That beautiful moon entered Sagittarius at the end of last week @ 7:04pm on Saturday and will remain in that house until Tuesday (2-9-10) @ 5:43am when it will enter Capricorn.
My almanac says: Sagittarius encourages flights of imagination and confidence. This moon sign is adventurous, philosophical, and athletic. Favors expansion and growth.
~ Personally ~
Here I am, expanding and growing. Right now as I research my celestial love and plan my life around Her energy, I grow. I’ve been having flights of imagination propped up upon some confidence and it’s been feeling wonderfully.
The business I’d spoken briefly of starting last week didn’t manifest the way I thought it would, but that’s life. Full of surprises. It certainly didn’t fail to manifest, it just wasn’t what I had in mind. But it’s all good because this way is even better. I’m going to continue letting Sagittarius encourage my imagination. Each moment spent imagining my outcome is productive.
And speaking of athletic, I’ve decided to start doing yoga again and had my first stretch of it this morning. Pun intended. I’m feeling like a punny girl today :)

The moon comes into the house of Capricorn on Tuesday morning (2-9-10) @ 5:43am and stays through til Thursday morning (2-11-10) @ 7:39am when it goes void of course until 6:24pm.
My almanac says: Capricorn develops strong structure. Focus on traditions, responsibilities, and obligations. A good time to set boundaries and rules.
~ Personally ~
Tuesday & Wednesday will assuredly hold responsibilities and obligations for me. I must go to our rental house and spend a good portion of time this week cleaning and painting. These 2 days are looking like the days.
Traditions are also important and being that Wednesday is the day Kris and I get together for brunch and coffee, I’ll be sure to be available for her and plan my obligations around our time together. I have my volunteer time with the second graders @ school Wednesday morning anyway so I guess it’ll be an afternoon of obligation preceded by a morning of giving, kindness, great friends, and good coffee. Sounds like a good day to me!
It’s good to know that these are the things that need my focus most and the Universe not only supports me in what I’m doing, but almost seems to be pushing me in the right direction.
Thursday morning (2-11-10) @ 7:39am the moon goes void of course until 6:24pm. That means chaotic energy and I will be found doing not much of anything. I take it as my resting period. I don’t worry about anything or work toward anything. For all intents and purposes, it is my magical resting period. I allow my life to just Be as it is and enjoy it. Purposefully. Maybe I’ll take the dogs on an outing. With the cold weather of late, we’ve not had many outings.

Thursday evening @ 6:24pm the moon will enter the house of Aquarius where She will remain until Saturday night @ 11:33pm when She will again VC until 7:23am Sunday morning at which time She’ll enter Pisces. Right before She voids Her course Saturday night, we welcome in a New Moon @ 9:51pm.
My almanac says: Aquarius is a rebellious energy. Time to break habits and make abrupt change. Personal freedom and individuality is the focus.
~ Personally ~
Thursday evening through bedtime Saturday night is spent in Aquarius. Habit breaking and abrupt change. Personal freedom and individuality. With that new moon coming in @ 9:51pm, when I wake up Sunday morning, the new cycle will have begun. I LOVE this time of the month.
According to Cafe Astrology *In the sign of Aquarius, friendship, brotherhood, group activities, social pursuits, group projects, trying something new, humanitarian efforts, or joining a group will be a strong focus on a personal level. New beginnings*
The “trying something new” and “humanitarian efforts” are the ones jumping out to conk me on the head so they will be my focus from Thursday evening through Saturday. I’ll let you know how that pans out next week!

Sunday morning @ 7:23am the January New Moon will right Her course and enter the house of Pisces where we will pick Her up again next Moonday.
My almanac says: Pisces has a focus on dreaming, nostalgia, intuition, and psychic impressions. A good time for Spiritual or philanthropic activities.
~ Personally ~
Sundays are wonderful in my opinion. As a child I was taught to “Remember the Sabbath and to keep it holy” and so I do. Sunday in my home is restful. Enjoyed. I garden and plant and meditate. We might work on our remodel, but that’s still holy. To us at least. It’s not about “out there”. It’s about in here. Us, our family, being together and loving each other and reconnecting to ourselves as much as each other.
Dreaming and nostalgia are naturally on my to-do list for Sundays. My husband and I will sit at the table with coffee talking of days past and manifestations to come. THAT is what I will be doing this Sunday.
We’re also going to be officially initiating a “Family Game Night” for Sunday evenings. We play together a lot, but not as regularly as we used to. I intend to remedy that!
