Gifts for the Deserving!

September 21st, 2009

Hey Everyone!

In honor of Day Spa Monday, I want to give away some stuff because I CAN!
I’ve gotten quite a collection of ebooks together. Here are eight of them for you.
You can download them from my page by clicking here.

Take half an hour today…
What? You don’t have an entire, extra half an hour?
Then take 20 minutes… 15, 10.. you get the point.
The AMOUNT of time isn’t half as important as the fact that you’re TAKING it.

Take half an hour today and do something JUST for you. Something that will make you smile. Something that will make you feel good. Something you maybe don’t usually do.

Anything!

I like to soak in a tub and have a facial and polish my nails. It’s my girlie, relaxing, luxurious thing to do. My pampering. It’s wonderful. I deserve it! I work hard, even the weeks that I don’t.

Don’t have that much time? Read a magazine, feed the birds, take a walk, sit on a bench in the sun… ANYTHING that makes you feel good!

The Universe CAN NOT send you what you want if you’re also telling the Universe, at the same time, that you’re not worth it and don’t deserve it. People will always treat you the way you treat yourself. So will God.

Show the Cosmos that YOU think you’re special. That YOU understand how important you are to the organization of the world. That YOU know you deserve anything and everything you desire.

Once you know this for yourself, everyone else will know it too… But once YOU know it… REALLY know it… God will respond in kind.

Manifest the life of your dreams! You CAN do it! The very first key is to KNOW that you deserve to have it. Feel like you deserve it. Accept that it SHOULD be yours…… then you only need to allow it to come.

You enjoyed my post and would like to buy me coffee?!
WOW! I really appreciate that!

Is an Undesired Occurrence a Synchronicity?

September 19th, 2009

Does everyone lead a synchronistic life, even if they don’t realize it.
I believe the answer to both of these questions is, emphatically “YES!”

First to define synchronicity. Wikipedia says:

Synchronicity is the experience of two or more events that are causally unrelated occurring together in a meaningful manner. To count as synchronicity, the events should be unlikely to occur together by chance.

The concept does not question, or compete with the notion of causality. Instead, it maintains that just as events may be grouped by cause, they may also be grouped by their meaning. Since meaning is a complex mental construction, subject to conscious and subconscious influence, not every correlation in the grouping of events by meaning needs to have an explanation in terms of cause and effect.

So… when you think of how much you love purple flowers, and as you turn a corner you find purple flowers everywhere, that is a synchronicity. You thinking about purple flowers and them suddenly appearing in your reality are not likely to occur at the same time like that therefore it is synchronistic.

What if you were walking along and thinking about how much you hate your life and turned the corner and something unexpected and unpleasant happened. In my opinion, that is just as synchronistic as the first example. In both you are thinking a thought passionately and manifesting that passion into reality.

The thing is, we spend more time focusing on the unwanted synchronicities of life than the magically wonderful ones.

We expect to struggle and strive and be set back. We expect to have to work hard and earn less than we’re worth. Then, when these things happen, we don’t smile fondly and refer to them as synchronicities. We balk at how unfair life is and we struggle against it a little harder.

See the synchronicity at work in your life. Your entire world is a reflection of what you feel inside. If you are seeing things “out there” that you don’t like, it’s ALWAYS because you’re feeling or believing something that’s not good “in here”.

It’s ALL synchronistic. It’s all happening just for you. The entire Universe is showing you an unfiltered, unbiased, three dimensional, fully animated diaramma of what’s inside you.

If you can find a way to love what’s inside of you, what’s OUTSIDE of you will morph into what you love.

Happy New Moon!!

September 18th, 2009

~ September 18, 2009 at 2:44 pm EST ~

For the next 2 weeks we will be in the waxing lunar cycle. This is the building light and a time of strong creative energy. If you’d like to see the dates of the coming phases of the moon, you can do so here.

Take advantage of this time to:

  • Create intentions
  • Make goal lists
  • Work on vision boards
  • Create magical movies
  • Create and work with new affirmations
  • Cast Spells

Anything you’re wanting to grow or expand is what you need to be working with during this part of the cycle.

Focus first upon what you intend to manifest in the short term. What are your goals for the next 30-90 days?
From there expand to longer term goals if you wish. It’s easiest to get the creativity ball rolling from thinking of the immediate future though.

This of course is only a suggestion. You should always do it any way that works for you. That’s the goal, to make it work. Not to do it the same as someone else.

Let’s touch base quickly on what each of the above things entails.

To create an intention, you’re going to focus on one thing. For example, money. If you set an intention to create more money flow in your life, you would sit down and figure out exactly what you want and personalize it to you. Then write it out as an intention. “I intend to see a great expansion in money flowing into my life for the greatest good of all.” You can, of course, focus upon more than one intention in the overall. Maybe you’re already focused on certain goals and you’re just adding a new one.

To make a goal list you’re going to focus on a general list of things you want to manifest. This is generally done to get the “big picture” so you can then focus on individual things. When you make a goal list of the over-all goals you want to reach, you’ll want to revise it on a consistent basis. Not necessarily monthly, but at least every six months. As you grow, your goals will change. Keep your list current.

To make a vision board, all you need is a space to post, pictures of either what you want or something that represents it to you and something to affix the pictures with. I’ve used the side of my fridge. My boys use the side of a file cabinet. My friend uses a cork board. I’ve made vision boards on my laptop using “paint” and saved it as my desktop. Any way you can create a collection of pictures and words representing what you desire to give manifestation to will work. Personalize it as much as you can. The more of your creative energy you put into it, the more results you’ll get out of it.

Creating a magical movie is a little more in depth. Fun though! I use Windows Movie Maker, which comes free with every version of windows. You can add music and pictures from your computer and create a movie that plays out like a vision board before your eyes. It’s very useful. And Windows Movie Maker is REALLY easy to use. Don’t be intimidated if you’ve never used it before. It’s REALLY self explanatory. If I can do it, you can too!

Creating and working with affirmations is a wonderful way to help reprogram the little monsters in your mind so you can manifest the things you want. Affirmations should be short and very easy to remember. Giving them rhyme and/or rhythm is a great way to make them so. They should always be spoken in the present tense too. Never, “I will soon have”… but always, “I now have”  or  “____ is getting closer and closer”  or  ” Thank you for ___”.

You get the point?

Spell casting is super fun in my opinion. Spell casting is like setting an intention (because intent is everything), creating a vision board (because there are things to associate by vision), creating a short series of affirmations (called incantations) and preforming a ritual that is meaningful to the solitary with the intention of releasing the intended goal to the Cosmos and/or deity of choice (meditation) to bring manifestation.

There are oodles of practicing witches with websites you can reference. Just google “Wicca” or “Spells”. Some have a coven and some are solitary. What they all have in common is, they all do it just a little different than anyone else. Your magic is unique to you… as is your perception and your life. Embrace your unique magic and create with it :)

For me, I practice solitary. I go my own way and create in my own unique way. My very favorite book for reference is Practical Solitary Magic By Nancy B. Watson. It was recommended to me by a witch I met through synchronicity at least 7 or 8 years ago and was the first book I ever read about manifestation Wicca style. I was STUNNED by how Spiritual it was and how “Law of Attraction” based the psychology behind it was. This book comes VERY highly recommended by me.

Happy Manifesting!
